VIDEO: A timelapse video of me painting ARGUS.

Argus is a rescue dog adopted from an animal shelter in the Philippines. Furmom Jeng says of Argus: “When we adopted him, he was blind and thin but what drew us to him was his happy face. His past and disability were never a hindrance to him and he was ready to take on a new life as soon as he took that freedom ride three years ago. Fast forward to the present, his blindness is now cured and he now helps the community, working as a therapy dog and a reading assistance dog for the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). He is also a model – endorsing several doggie brands, was featured in a billboard recently, and appeared in several TV shows and print media. Life started rough for this boy but his optimism showed that this little boy can turn his life around and even give back to the community even when the community turned his back on him. A little love, compassion and trust really give strays that extra mile, not just to survive but also to thrive.”

ARGUS is my featured rescued/adopted pet for March in my 2019 Calendar Project. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be donated to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society. If you would like to support this project, please follow me on my social media networks for news and updates.
